Title I/Federally Funded Programs

East Clinton Local Schools uses Title I resources to improve the core instructional program at our two elementary schools. Through the Title I program, high-quality educators provide reading intervention services for students in grades K-5.

Our Title I program also strives for parent and family engagement in all areas of our schools.

District Seeking Federal Funding Input

East Clinton Local Schools seeks community input regarding the use of federal resources. These federal funds supplement the state and local resources used to provide our instructional programming.

Federal funds currently being used:

Title I funds are used to provide academic intervention services.

Title II-A funds reduce our teacher-to-student ratios.

IDEA-B funds are utilized for special education and related services for children with disabilities by supporting unique needs as identified through an Individualized Education Plan (IEP).

Questions regarding these programs are welcomed. Suggestions regarding the use of these federal dollars should be directed to Jason Jones, Title I/Federally Funded Programs Coordinator at jason.jones@eastclinton.org

Input can also be given at the building level. A Title I station is available at elementary school open houses at the start of each school year. Title I services and other federally funded programs are also discussed at various events throughout the year such as grade level parent meetings, PTO meetings and parent/teacher conferences.
